NDP ad makes politics sexy again

In May we produced a humourous 30 second TV ad for the New Democratic Party that lampoons the Ontario Government's HST tax grab. The ad is currently playing during FIFA World Cup soccer coverage on the Tele Latino Network (TLN).

Greg Bennett nominated for cinematography award

Congratulations to Leslieville Senior Partner - and Director of Photography - Gregory Bennett for his nomination by the Canadian Society of Cinematographers for short dramatic fiction. The nomination is for Greg's spectacular work on Leslieville's first short film, Re-Wire. Here's the trailer:

ACTRA National campaign kicks off

Leslieville was hired back in October of 2009 to produce a series of web-based ads for the Association of Canadian Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA). The first of these videos has now been released and stars Colin Mochrie, Nigel Bennett, Mpho Koaho, Rick Mercer, Jodelle Ferland, Alvin Sanders, Mary Walsh, Peter Keleghan, Art Hindle, Manoj Sood, Heather Allin, Ferne Downey, Jayne Eastwood, Colin Mochrie, Tonya Lee Williams, Dalmar Abuzeid and Donnelly Rhodes.
